Music Memories: Cake’s “Wheels” from Pressure Chief. This album came out when I was in grad school in Hawaii and in an international relations class, which makes the cover art funny to me. The class itself sucked and was more about the bickering between people who subscribe to different schools of IR than about IR itself. It’s one of the things that won’t let political science get out of its own way and say something interesting.
I write about sports and pen the occasional novel. I recently finished writing and defended a dissertation on Abraham Lincoln. This is a place for all and none of these things.
